Project description: Sho-Me Power Electric Cooperative is adding an operations center to its longtime headquarters in Marshfield. Tim Lewis, manager of member services and corporate communication, said the new facility will have updated technology to enhance the co-op’s transmission power system. Sho-Me Power supplies electricity to nine member cooperatives throughout Missouri, according to the company website. The current operations center will be converted into additional office space, Lewis said. The project is the third addition to the 58,000-square-foot headquarters in over 60 years.
Utah-based gourmet cookie chain Crumbl Cookies opened its first Springfield shop; interior design business Branson Upstaging LLC relocated; and Lauren Ashley Dance Center LLC added a second location.
