Project description: Republic Ford Lincoln is adding a six-bay, heavy-duty service facility for large vehicles to its campus off U.S. Highway 60. The new bays will allow the service team to work on vehicles with up to a 36,000 gross vehicle weight rating, said Dave Deal, the dealership’s general manager. The addition includes room for extra inventory and employee parking. Deal said construction crews also are creating a 55,000-cubic-foot retention pond to mediate water concerns that Republic Ford Lincoln has had in the past.
The Republic School District is on track to open its Intermediate School for fifth- and sixth-grade students for the 2025-26 academic year.
