Project description: The existing home for the Reeds Spring School District’s Early Childhood Program was built in the 1960s, but district officials say they have outgrown it. Voters approved a $40 million bond issue in April to update and expand the primary school and also to fund a new career and technical center. District spokesperson Ben Fisher said the existing building is in the process of being renovated, with an addition of storm-safe classrooms. He said an addition on the west side of the building will add four early childhood classrooms, and the parking lot will include an additional loop to improve traffic flow. Crews also are converting an outdoor classroom space into a library, art room and additional workspaces, Fisher said.
Utah-based gourmet cookie chain Crumbl Cookies opened its first Springfield shop; interior design business Branson Upstaging LLC relocated; and Lauren Ashley Dance Center LLC added a second location.
