Project description: After the Missouri Department of Transportation rerouted Eastgate Avenue at Division Street, Crossland Construction crews began constructing two buildings for Napleton Autowerks. The dealership plans to relocate from 3145 S. Campbell Ave. Napleton Autowerks General Manager Drew Anna said steel is up for the nearly 28,000-square-foot Volkswagen and Mitsubishi dealership, and a second, nearly 10,700-square-foot, building will house Porsche operations. The northeast Springfield property had been owned by businessman Bob Noble. A 7,000-square-foot residential building once used as a product test kitchen by Noble Communications was demolished after Napleton Equities LLC acquired the 12-acre property fronting U.S. Highway 65.
Utah-based gourmet cookie chain Crumbl Cookies opened its first Springfield shop; interior design business Branson Upstaging LLC relocated; and Lauren Ashley Dance Center LLC added a second location.
