Project description: The newest addition to Strafford’s Southwest Missouri Rail and Business Park is truck part distributor Midwest Wheel Cos. Headquartered in Des Moines, Iowa, Midwest Wheel was founded 110 years ago, and its website lists five stores in Iowa and two in Missouri, one in Joplin and the other in Kansas City. It sells replacement heavy-duty and commercial fleet products, light truck accessories and trailer products, and school bus replacement parts, according to its website. The building is 240 feet by 120 feet with four dock doors and two 12-by-14-foot drive-in doors, according to Project Manager Rand Youngblood of Rich Kramer Construction. Youngblood said the building will have a two-story office area and 3,000 square feet of showroom space.
Utah-based gourmet cookie chain Crumbl Cookies opened its first Springfield shop; interior design business Branson Upstaging LLC relocated; and Lauren Ashley Dance Center LLC added a second location.
