Project description: The frame is in place for a multipurpose athletic facility on the grounds of Logan-Rogersville High School. The building is designed to include athletic training areas, like a half-football field with artificial turf, a two-mat wrestling area, a weight room, a training room, coaches’ offices and locker rooms, according to officials with Jack Ball & Associates Architects. The second floor will have a walking track, a cheerleading room and a large open area with three batting cages and an indoor combination tennis and pickleball court, and plans call for this level to be connected to the high school via a glass sky bridge. Outside, eight new tennis courts are planned with covered spectator seating, as is a turfed football and soccer practice field.
