Project description: On the southwest corner of Highway FF and Sunshine Street, a four-bay Jiffy Lube is opening shop. Steve Isom, executive vice president of Jiffy Lube franchisee Stonebriar Auto Services, said the company plans to open three or four locations in Springfield. He said a Jiffy Lube already is being constructed in Nixa. These shops are designed in the new Jiffy Lube Multicare model: “Two bays are dedicated to fast oil changes with two additional bays where certified mechanics perform brakes, alignments, tires, tuneups and other mechanical work with no appointment necessary,” he said via email. Jiffy Lube typically employs 10-12 employees at each shop. There are over 2,000 stores nationwide, and Isom said Springfield will be the 22nd location in the Stonebriar auto service franchise system.
