Description: The first phase of the Iron Grain District Apartments is taking shape on the 30-acre site adjacent to Garton Business Park, home of Republic’s Amazon STL-3 fulfillment center. Officials say the development is designed to offer contemporary apartment living within walking distance of the recently completed 24,000-square-foot Iron Grain shopping center, where tenants already open for business are The Roost Bar & Grill, Habaneros Mexican Restaurant & Cantina and a Mercy Therapy Services location. An Echelon Coffee shop was just approved for the shopping center, as well. The first phase of the apartment project calls for 96 one-, two- and three-bedroom units with a pool, clubhouse, dog park, playground, pickleball court and walking trails, company official Shannon Handwerker said, adding that once the first phase of the apartment complex is completed, work will begin immediately on the next.
Dame Chiropractic LLC emerged as the new name of Harshman Chiropractic Clinic LLC with the purchase of the business; Leo Kim added a second venture, Keikeu LLC, to 14 Mill Market; and Mercy Springfield Communities opened its second primary care clinic in Ozark.
