Project description: Bapa Network is adding to its Dunkin’ lineup with a new shop in northwest Springfield, just east of the intersection of Chestnut Expressway and West Bypass. This installation is all about doughnuts, unlike the franchisee’s 1614 S. Glenstone Ave. store, which opened in 2022 and includes ice cream with a Baskin-Robbins addition. Plans for the new store are to hire 10 full-time and 30 part-time workers for the restaurant, according to Girish Patel, co-owner of the franchise group. Other Bapa Network stores opened recently in the area include a Dunkin’ at 2534 S. Campbell Ave., which opened in summer 2022, and a Carthage location at 2424 Fairlawn Drive, which opened in fall 2023.
April 7 was the official opening day for Mexican-Italian fusion restaurant Show Me Chuy after a soft launch that started March 31; marketing agency AdZen debuted; and the Almighty Sando Shop opened a brick-and-mortar space.
