Project description: Drury University’s newest academic building will be home to the Breech School of Business Administration, the department of political science and international affairs, and other programs, said Drury spokesperson Mike Brothers. It also will house the Robert and Mary Cox Compass Center for academic advising and career planning and the attached 12,000-square-foot Judy Thompson Executive Conference Center for meetings, workshops and speaker events. The project is Drury’s first new academic building in 20 years, according to school officials. The three-story building also is slated to include a cafe open to the public. The project is fully funded through private donations, Brothers said, with a naming rights gift from the O’Reilly family.
The Republic School District is on track to open its Intermediate School for fifth- and sixth-grade students for the 2025-26 academic year.
