Project description: Renovations at Cedarbrook Estates, with the addition of a community clubhouse, are part of a multiphased, six-site project to refurbish 297 low-income, single-family units in Springfield at a cost of $43 million. The project is collectively called Keystone Family Homes LP. The community clubhouse at Cedarbrook Estates is one of two clubhouses in the project, offering residents a place to gather, read, relax and use computers, according to developers, and it also will be used for resident support services to provide opportunities for selfsufficiency as future homeowners. Along with Cedarbrook Estates, the project includes Keystone Village, formerly Bolivar Road Apartments; Green Way Village, formerly Glenwood; Carson Lee Estates, formerly Dogwood Square; and Arrowhead Townhomes, formerly Villa Marie/Norton Road. Property management will be by Houston, Texas-based Allied Orion Group. The communities offer one- to five-bedroom homes, with rent starting at $484 and topping out at $1,477.
