Project description: A two-story building nearing completion at Buffalo High School will house both home and visitor locker rooms for all Bison and Lady Bison teams, plus a weight room and a dedicated wrestling area. A project description on the Buffalo High School Facebook page notes the weight room overlooks the football field, and there is also a new concession stand. Coaching offices and conference rooms are also included in the project, as is a large storage area under the building. The sleek, modern architectural style echoes that of the newly constructed Dallas County Technical Center located nearby, according to district officials, who note the district has been saving money for several years to fund the project.
A food truck that launched last year rebranded and moved to Metro Eats; automotive repair business Mitchem Tire Co. expanded its Christian County presence; and O’Reilly Build LLC was acquired.
