French fashion designer dies at 73

French fashion designer Thierry Mugler has died. He was 73.

Officials with the designer's brand, Mugler, called its founder "a visionary whose imagination as a couturier, perfumer and image-maker empowered people around the world to be bolder and dream bigger every day."

Mugler's flamboyant creations transformed haute couture, according to CNN.
