United Way of the Ozarks this week announced the addition of four businesspeople to its board of directors.
The new members serving three-year terms are Matt Aug, president of Cox HealthPlans; Tyler Hesser, chief financial officer of Springfield ReManufacturing Corp.; Dee King, chief of staff for Burrell Behavioral Health; and Stephanie Matthews, vice president and business development officer for Simmons Bank. Their terms started April 1, according to a news release.
“We are thrilled with our incoming class of board members. Each was selected based on the skills and connections they bring to our board,” said Greg Burris, president and CEO of United Way of the Ozarks, in the release. “We are intentional about the method we use to identify and select new board members. We are so appreciative that these four busy people said ‘yes’ when asked."
United Way also announced members who started one-year terms as officers on April 1. They are:
• Chair David Agee of Husch Blackwell LLP.
• Vice Chair/Chair-elect Rachel Anderson of the Efactory;
• Secretary Shawn Calhoun of Associated Electric Cooperative Inc.;
• Treasurer Jason England of Arvest Bank.
• Past Chair Joan Barrett of Ozarks Technical Community College.
• Community Investment Committee co-Chair Matt Aug.
• At-large officer Stephen Hall of Springfield Public Schools.
• At-large officer Ryan Sivill of FORVIS LLP.
United Way thanked three exiting members for their service: David Cook of the Bank of Missouri; Stephanie Weis of FORVIS; and Mike White of SRC Logistics.
Schools, athletic facilities, businesses and infrastructure are among the featured projects.
