The European Commission has launched an investigation into Gorilla Glass maker Corning, which is based in the United States.
Corning, whose Gorilla Glass product protects phone screens, is being investigated for alleged anticompetitive practices, commission officials say.
The commission alleges Corning has prevented competition through exclusive supply deals.
