ESPN enters TV rights deal with pickleball association

ESPN has entered a TV rights deal with the Association of Pickleball Professionals.

Under the deal, ESPN2 will broadcast eight, one-hour event recap shows. ESPN+ is slated to stream some 200 hours of live coverage of eight events from the association's annual tour.

More than 4.8 million people in the United States play pickleball, according to The Sports & Fitness Industry Association.
