Efactory picked for $270K grant

Missouri State University's Efactory has received funding through the Missouri Technology Corp.

The grant is valued at $270,726, according to a news release. The MTC is a public-private partnership created by the Missouri General Assembly to promote entrepreneurship and technology company growth.

The Efactory's funding is earmarked to support its business incubator, coworking space and regional business support services.

“Our members need these supports in place in order to see success and growth, and we’re incredibly fortunate to have MTC stand behind us in so many initiatives," said Rachel Anderson, executive director of the Efactory, in the release. "They show us that they value what we’re doing for growing businesses in the region.”

The Efactory was one of eight recipients in a statewide grant round made through the Missouri Building Entrepreneurial Capacity program.
