Developer Kamran Khan has sued the city of St. Louis after a $2 million grant for a senior housing project was rescinded.
The city's Community Development Administration says it was maintaining compliance with rules on federal funds. The developer is accused of violating federal rules by starting construction early.
In the lawsuit, Khan alleges his crews only removed debris in an attempt to stop vandals from damaging the former Prince Hall off Interstate 70.
