Costco shareholders reject shift in diversity programs

Costco shareholders have overwhelmingly voted against a proposal that requested the company look into the risks of maintaining its diversity and inclusion initiatives.

Costco officials said more than 98% of shareholders voted against the measure at its annual meeting.

The National Center for Public Policy Research made the Costco proposal.
