Proper Cannabis has scrapped plans for a medical marijuana farm in the St. Louis suburb of Olivette.
Plans to convert a former Southern Comfort warehouse into a cultivation facility were met with complaints from residents. Dozens of residents showed up to a recent City Council meeting to say the facility would tank property values, among other complaints.
“These are projects that we don’t want to force," Proper Cannabis CEO John Pennington said. “We feel like we could have built a great project here, but we’ve got to consider voices and opinion.”
