Women's clothing retailer Charlotte Russe filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.
The company, which has more than 500 stores, plans to close 94 and seek a sale through the bankruptcy process.
Company officials said they received a bankruptcy financing package worth up to $50 million to continue operating its stores during bankruptcy proceedings.
