Central Bank in Springfield announced a hire in the C-suite.
Jacob Kellett was named senior vice president and chief credit officer, according to a news release issued this morning.
Kellett brings 17 years of experience in portfolio and risk management, commercial lending, community banking and credit analysis, according to a news release. He succeeds Bob Berlin, who retired after 14 years in the CCO position at Central Bank in Springfield.
Kellett previously worked at Focus Bank in southeast Missouri as a senior vice president, according to his LinkedIn profile.
A Louisiana State University Graduate School of Banking alumni, Kellett earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Missouri in 2000 and his Juris Doctor from the University of Tulsa College of Law in 2004, according to the release.
Central Bank's local market is led by President and CEO Joselyn Baldner, who was named to the position in early 2021.
The Republic School District is on track to open its Intermediate School for fifth- and sixth-grade students for the 2025-26 academic year.
