CBS News president steps down

Ingrid Ciprián-Matthews is stepping down as president of CBS News.

Ciprián-Matthews, a three-decade veteran of CBS News who became president in 2023, said "this is the right time to step away from my current role at CBS News and begin to write my next chapter.”

Paramount Global, the parent company of CBS News, recently entered a merger deal with Skydance Media.
