Carthage couple sentenced for embezzlement scheme

A couple from Carthage was sentenced for an embezzlement scheme.

Jeanine Poe, 52, and William Poe, 58, had roles in the embezzlement of more than $235,000 from two Joplin convenience stores.

Jeanine Poe will serve two years in prison, while her husband received parole. She previously managed the two Doc’s Stop stores.
