Cardinals Triple-A affiliate to be sold

The St. Louis Cardinals' Triple-A affiliate reportedly is being sold for the second time in less than a year.

Global technology investment firm Silver Lake inked a deal to purchase Endeavor Group Holdings' Diamond Baseball Holdings subsidiary, which includes the Memphis Redbirds. The purchase price is $280 million.

The Redbirds were purchased with other teams by Diamond in late 2021.
