Posted online

Burrell Behavioral Health hired Dee King as its chief of staff.

King starts today as the primary liaison for President and CEO C.J. Davis in internal and external capacities, as well as the point of contact between the behavioral health organization's executive office and its board, employees and stakeholders, according to a news release.

“Dee is a master communicator, a respected voice in our community, and brings a passion to share the Burrell mission from day one,” Davis said in the release. “I can’t think of a finer representative to serve as an extension of myself and Burrell in the 25 counties we serve and beyond.”

King comes to Burrell from Guaranty Bank, where she spent nearly four years as corporate services development officer, according to her LinkedIn profile. She also has past sales and marketing experience with O'Reilly Hospitality Management LLC and John Q. Hammons Hotels & Resorts.

Burrell recently ranked No. 7 on Springfield Business Journal's Dynamic Dozen awards list. The organization reported 2020 revenue of $151 million, representing three-year growth of 47%. Davis was honored as the top CEO/managing partner at the May 27 event ceremony.
