Branson restaurant Billy Gail's, which came under new ownership early this year, is slated to open an eatery in Ozark.

A Sept. 15 grand opening is scheduled for the home-style breakfast, brunch and lunch restaurant at 1882 W. James River Road, the former site of Bric’s Belgian Waffle House in Ozark, according to a news release.

Officials said the building has been completely renovated to make way for Billy Gail's. The site is visible from U.S. Highway 65. The menu features large pancakes, a tenderloin sandwich, fried bologna and other items.

Alan Kram and Joshua Rasmussen purchased Billy Gail's in January from founders Billy and Gail Blong, who started the Branson restaurant in 1995, according to the release. Rasmussen could not be reached immediately for comment.

Kram and Rasmussen also own Flat Creek, which last year opened as the anchor tenant of the nearly $4 million Wildwood Plaza commercial development in Republic. Flat Creek also operates along Table Rock Lake.
