Ozark-based restaurant chain Big Whiskey’s is set to make its debut this month in the Sunshine State.
Nosnaws Corp., a Florida-based IHOP franchisee, is opening the Big Whiskey's store in Davie, Florida, through Whiskey’s Florida LLC, according to a news release. The Davie restaurant has scheduled a Jan. 31-Feb. 2 grand opening weekend.
“Opening our first Big Whiskey’s in Florida is a dream come true for the company as we continue to expand exponentially," Big Whiskey’s CEO Austin Herschend said in the release. "There are a lot of great markets approved in Florida, and we are just getting started."
Nosnaws Corp. inked a three-store Florida deal in 2022 with Big Whiskey’s, according to past reporting. A Big Whiskey’s spokesperson said this morning that Nosnaws Corp. has a short list of potential sites for two other stores in Broward County, Florida.
A franchising document available at BigWhiskeysFranchise.com points to an expected investment cost of $1.5 million to $5 million, a $50,000 franchise fee, royalties equal to 5% of net sales and a national marketing fund that's 1% of gross sales.
The company’s website lists 18 restaurants, including two that are coming soon.
