President Joe Biden selected a former Missouri prosecutor to lead the U.S. attorney's office in Kansas.
Kate E. Brubacher, a Kansas native, worked as an assistant prosecutor for Jackson County in Missouri until August of this year.
Last year, she helped free Kevin Strickland, who spent 43 years in prison for a triple murder he didn't commit.
