The Bank of Missouri has appointed a new community bank president for the Bolivar market.
Polk County native Bryan Allison, previously a senior commercial loan officer, has been promoted, according to a news release.
“Bryan brings valuable experience in the commercial lending area with an expertise in agricultural lending,” said Tim Scott, southwest regional bank president for The Bank of Missouri, in the release. “He is very active in the community and has been instrumental in developing leaders in the Bolivar community.”
Allison has 15 years of bank management experience and 25 years in lending. He joined The Bank of Missouri through a 2020 acquisition of Bank of Bolivar, his previous employer, according to spokesperson Candice Davis.
The Bank of Missouri on its website lists two branches in Bolivar. The Bank of Missouri has 29 branches in southwest and southeast Missouri, as well as around the Columbia area. Its systemwide assets are $2.8 billion.
Russ Batten, the former community bank president in Bolivar, exited in January after he and the company "amicably parted ways," Scott said.
