Automobile hauler Jack Cooper Transport Co. LLC has closed its facility in Wentzville.
The company disclosed nearly 240 layoffs in a filing with the state of Missouri.
The closure and layoffs reportedly came about after Jack Cooper Transport failed to reach a new contract with General Motors.
