Arvest Bank has promoted the former leader of its Springfield operation to a regional executive role.
In his new role, Rodney Shepard will oversee operations in Missouri, Oklahoma and Kansas, according to a news release. He succeeds Brad Krieger, who retired after 28 years with the company and more than 50 years in banking.
“I’m excited about what the future holds for Arvest and look forward to working and collaborating with my peers as we provide customer-focused financial solutions in the communities we serve," Shepard said in the release.
With a 30-year career at Arvest, Shepard previously served as chief customer experience officer. He led Arvest Bank Springfield from 2011 to 2014, when he was named president and CEO of Arvest's Fort Smith, Arkansas, market, according to past reporting.
"In his new role, Rodney’s extensive experience working within and leading our banks in Fort Smith and Springfield will be very beneficial to our local banks and executives with whom he will be working," said Kevin Sabin, Arvest chair and CEO, in the release.
