A Florida startup that focuses on anti-aging and longevity services is coming to Springfield.

Serotonin Centers penned a franchise deal with locals Travis and Rhonda Little to open two Springfield medical spas, according to a news release.

"Springfield is an ideal market for Serotonin to plant its flag in Missouri," said Eric Casaburi, founder and CEO, in the release. "As we continue to develop our regional footprint in the years ahead, we are excited to watch as Serotonin reshapes and reimagines health span and improves quality of life in communities throughout southwest Missouri."

Windermere, Florida-based Serotonin Centers provides hormone restoration, aesthetic enhancement, weight control and immunity recovery therapies, according to its website. Services listed include IV therapy, Botox treatment, exercise and nutrition guidance, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy and muscle development. Serotonin Centers is currently expanding via franchise deals in multiple states. The company’s website lists a location each in Windermere, Florida, and Colts Neck, New Jersey, with around 20 coming soon.

The company penned a multiunit development deal with the Littles to bring five locations to Missouri. The Springfield centers are expected to open in January 2024. The company's website lists a one-time franchise fee of $59,000, with 6% royalty payments and an estimated initial investment of up to $1.3 million.

Southwest Missouri natives, the Littles have experience in the dairy and construction industries, according to the release.

"While we've been fortunate enough to avoid any serious health concerns during our life, we're not blind to the ways in which traditional health care is lagging behind the times," Travis Little said in the release. "More than ever, communities want access to health solutions that do more than just keep them alive. They want solutions that can help them thrive and enjoy the full extent of their time on this earth."
