2021 40 Under 40: Lindsay Reichert

Project Manager, Paragon Architecture LLC

Posted online

Even as a child, Lindsay Reichert dreamed of building and creating. Now, she’s living that dream as project manager and designer with Paragon Architecture.

Reichert, 37, has devoted her professional career to the design industry, starting at BRP Architects in 2006 as an intern architect. Since 2014 she’s worked at Paragon, contributing on numerous projects in the nonprofit and educational fields. One of the projects she helped lead, a $16 million intermediate school for Willard Public Schools, earned the firm a Design Team of the Year Award from the Springfield Contractors Association.

Reichert is active in the Springfield chapter of American Institute of Architects and volunteers with the Child Advocacy Center, for which she formerly served on its Young Advocates Council.

First job? For a neighbor’s residential construction company. It started out as a construction cleaning gig. I eventually picked up some of the trade skills as I hung around.

Best piece of advice you’ve ever received? Spend time taking care of yourself. The payback is incredible.

Recent TV show binge? “WandaVision.” In a house full of boys, we watch a lot of Marvel and Disney. I pretend that I watch it for them, but I really love it all.

Favorite hobby or pastime? I can’t get enough walks, bike trips or mini-hiking excursions with the family.
