TLC Properties' latest development is open for business.
The Monarch, a 55-plus living community, was developed at a cost of $14.3 million, according to past Springfield Business Journal reporting.
“We’re proud to offer an innovative product and first-to-market services at Monarch,” said Sam M. Coryell, president of TLC parent company Coryell Collaborative Group, in a news release, referencing smart home technology such as appliance and temperature control. “We believe that this community will not only be a great place to call home but will deliver an exceptional living experience powered by smart home technology.”
Coryell Collaborative Group's Team C Construction served as general contractor for the 128,000-square-foot development designed by H Design Group LLC, according to past reporting.
Complex features include a nine-hole mini-golf course, saltwater pool and hot tub, dog park and butterfly gardens, according to the release.
In 2019, TLC opened senior-living properties Veranda Vistas and Coryell Commons Heights in southwest Springfield.
Ariake Sushi and Robata opened; Great Southern Bancorp Inc. (Nasdaq: GSBC) opened its newest branch in Springfield; and a longtime employee with City Utilities of Springfield went into business for himself with the launch of Van Every Drafting & Design LLC.
