Yellen to deliver final Fed news conference

Outgoing Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen is scheduled to host her final news conference this afternoon.

The Fed also will vote on whether to increase the benchmark interest rate into a range between 1.25 percent and 1.5 percent.

The monetary policy statement and a set of economic forecasts starts at 2 p.m., according to The New York Times.
