Crisis-ridden Venezuela, through a subsidiary of its state-run oil company, donated $500,000 to U.S. President Donald Trump's inauguration committee.
The Dec. 22 donation equals what Pepi, Verizon and Wal-Mart gave combined, according to Federal Election Commission records released this week.
The donation to the inauguration committee was made by Citgo Petroleum, a subsidiary of Venezuela's state-run oil company, PDVSA.
