U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo announced the country will lower its refugee admissions to a historic low.
Pompeo said the admission level would drop to no more than 30,000 refugees, down from 45,000.
The ceiling was lowered from 110,000 per year after President Donald Trump took office.
