Councilwoman Jan Fisk's son and his company are suing the city of Springfield.
Barrett Fisk in a May 2 suit claimed the city failed to turn over public records quickly related to "any alleged nuisance conditions" at properties he or his company owns.
Springfield's city clerk told the Springfield News-Leader her office is still processing Fisk's request.
A month before Fisk filed suit, the city ordered him to demolish two "public nuisance" properties officials found to be "detrimental to city residents' health, safety or welfare."
Reached by the News-Leader, Jan Fisk said she's not involved with the lawsuit or her son's business.
