Disney is reportedly closer to buying 21st Century Fox' studio and television production assets, sources familiar with the matter told Reuters.
In the deal, Fox would be left with its news and sports assets.
The sources said Fox also is in talks with CNBC parent company Comcast, but the talks with Disney have progressed more significantly.
