Ousted Ford exec gets to keep benefits

Raj Nair, the former president of Ford North America, will keep his health and retirement benefits despite being ousted by the company.

He forfeited a $5 million retention bonus and agreed to a two-year noncompete with his former employer of 30 years, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing.

Nair was fired over what Ford officials called behavior that was inconsistent with the company's code of conduct.
