O’Reilly Development Co. LLC is adding to its portfolio of senior-living centers with a project in southwest Springfield.

O’Reilly Build LLC crews are currently moving dirt and performing site work on 10 acres at the southwest corner of Republic Road and West Bypass. O’Reilly Build is general contractor on its sister company’s project, with H Design Group LLC as architect.

H Design project manager Bryon Oster this morning confirmed the plans outlined on O’Reilly Build’s website. Dubbed The Township Senior Living, the nearly 142,000-square-foot continuum-of-care community is designed with 83 independent living units, 46 in assisting living and 16 in a memory care division. Completion is scheduled for November 2019, Oster said. He declined to disclose the project cost.

Oster said The Township would comprise three, connected buildings. A three-story building would house independent living, he said, while a two-story building would be for assisted living and a one-story building would have memory care services.

O’Reilly Development last year completed The Castlewood Senior Living in Nixa, an $18 million development. The company also is working on the $23.4 million Wildwood Senior Living in Joplin, adding to its existing portfolio including The Fremont Senior Living in Springfield and the $22 million Parkway Senior Living in Blue Springs, according to its website.

O’Reilly Development’s The Township is across the street from developer Paul Larino’s canceled plans for Wilson’s Creek Marketplace. Roadways and streetlights were put up  for the planned Wilson’s Creek that never materialized.
