Father and son owners Kevin Roy I and Kevin Roy II opened Hebrews Coffee House Sept. 24 at 1604 E. Republic Road, space formerly occupied by Churchill Coffee Co. The younger Roy brings coffeehouse management experience in California and a marketing background with BancorpSouth. The elder Roy is retired from CoxHealth. The Roys entered a lease agreement in June for the 3,600-square-foot French Quarter space and completely renovated the interior. The business offers specialty coffees, sandwiches, soups, salads and pastries. Hours: 6 a.m.-10 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 6 a.m.-11 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Phone: (417) 883-6200.
