Nike Inc. this week filed a motion to dismiss portions of a discrimination lawsuit against the company.
Filed in August on behalf of four former Nike employees, the suit seeking class-action status now has grown to seven plaintiffs.
Nike officials claim the suit is overly broad and lacks sufficient facts.
"Plaintiffs have not alleged any factual predicate that makes these claims plausible or warrants imposing upon Nike and the court the considerable burden and expense of litigating their overbroad claims," Nike officials said in the motion.
