Construction
Carter-Waters LLC promoted 23-year employee Holly Goodin to branch manager overseeing operations and sales. She is an incoming board member for the Springfield Contractors Association.

Education
Drury University recognized Michelle Arnold with the 2018 Distinguished Staff Service Award for continuous achievement and dedication to the university and its mission. As the administrative assistant for the School of Communication, Fine & Performing Arts since 2015, she has overhauled and streamlined most of its processes and tasks.

Evangel University students Anna “Josie” Gregory and Madaline Thompson were selected for the 2018-19 Student Missouri State Teachers Association. Gregory is a middle school education major and Evangel’s SMSTA chapter president. Thompson is an early childhood/elementary education major and serves as Evangel’s chapter elementary education representative.

Southwest Baptist University professor of mathematics Bob Glasgow was presented the Leroy Sachs Award for lifetime achievement at the Missouri Council of Teachers of Mathematics Fall Conference in Columbia. The award, established in 1993, is given to an individual who has promoted the improvement of mathematics education.

Government
Gov. Mike Parson appointed Cindy Herrmann Baker to the Committee for Professional Counselors and Dr. Colby Grove to the State Board of Pharmacy. Baker owns four counseling companies, Baker Consulting Services LLC, Touchstone Counseling LLC, Touchstone Helping Families LLC and Garden of Healing LLC. Grove is a pharmacist and co-owner of The Pharmacy @ Pleasant Hope.

Health Care
Citizens Memorial Hospital added D.J. Edwards as a physician assistant at the Stockton Family Medical Center. His practice covers family medicine, wound care, therapeutic procedures and mental health counseling.

Logistics
NewStream Enterprises LLC added Steven Huffman as director of supply chain. He spent 10 years as supply chain director at SRC Electrical LLC and has taught Principles of Management and Purchasing and Supply Chain Management classes at Missouri State University. Huffman is responsible for NewStream’s materials, logistics and information technology departments.

Manufacturing
SRC Holdings Corp. promoted Jeremy Dodd to general manager of SRC Electrical LLC and Tim Stack to executive vice president over Global Recovery Corp., Ceramex North America and SRC Electrical. Dodd, who succeeds Stack as general manager, started working with SRC in 2000. Stack began his career with SRC in 2003, running SRC’S Asset Recovery Organization and as GM of SRC Logistics Inc.

Janelle Moffett
was promoted to president of SummitMedia LLC from general sales manager. She replaces Rex Hansen, who is retiring. Moffett will lead stations KTTS, KSPW, KRVI and KSGF. She joined the broadcasting company as an account executive in 2001 and is a Drury University graduate and member of the Missouri Broadcasters Association.

Nonprofit
Freedom’s Rest Family Violence Center CEO Matthew Ennis accepted the CEO post for 1in6, a national nonprofit dedicated to male-identifying survivors of sexual abuse and assault. He led Freedom’s Rest in Ozark, a nonprofit providing shelter and advocacy to domestic and sexual violence survivors, since March 2017.

Real Estate
Gerken & Associates Inc. hired Shannon Dotson as director of operations in charge of business development, agent recruitment and retention and promotion of brand and culture. Dotson has 20 years of business management experience, most recently serving as the Springfield-Branson area manager for Magic Memories (USA) LLC, an international photography company.
