Missouri attorney general investigating Google

Missouri Attorney General Josh Hawley launched an investigation into Google over possible violations of the state's consumer-protection and antitrust laws.

Hawley, a Republican who's also running for Senate next year, is examining what Google does with user information it collects.

The investigation also is looking into allegations that Google grabbed information from competitors' websites and manipulated search results to favor its own websites over competitors'.
