Mercy this week is opening two co-branded urgent care centers at well-known Springfield shopping centers Battlefield Market Place and Magers Crossing as part of a larger rollout.
The Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care centers represent a partnership with Atlanta-based GoHealth Urgent Care, according to a news release. The companies committed to open more than 30 of the urgent care centers in Missouri, Arkansas and Oklahoma.
The two Springfield centers are located at 900 E. Battlefield Road in Battlefield Market Place and 2150 W. Republic Road in Magers Crossing. Mercy spokeswoman Sonya Kullmann said the centers, which will operate seven days a week, are scheduled to open to customers May 19. She was unable to provide lease terms by deadline.
Mercy scheduled a 10 a.m. ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday at the East Battlefield Road center, according to the release.
At the centers, patients can receive sick care, vaccinations, sports physicals and X-rays. The centers also offer preregistration and check-in online to make for a faster experience, as well as implementation of Mercy’s electronic health records.
GoHealth Urgent Care is affiliated with Access Clinical Partners LLC, which is owned by TPG Growth. The investment company has $70 million of assets under management, according to the release.
Mercy’s system includes more 40 acute care and specialty hospitals and 800 physician practices and outpatient facilities.
Utah-based gourmet cookie chain Crumbl Cookies opened its first Springfield shop; interior design business Branson Upstaging LLC relocated; and Lauren Ashley Dance Center LLC added a second location.
