"The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part" was No. 1 at the box office this weekend, but it failed to bring in as much money as expected.
The film garnered $35 million during its opening, below forecasts of $50 million. The 2014 original debuted at $69 million.
With about a $100 million budget, the film is voiced by Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Banks, Will Arnett, Will Ferrell and others.
