Lathrop Gage recruits Rep. Haahr

Posted online
Kansas City-based Lathrop & Gage LLP hired Missouri state Rep. Elijah Haahr to work in its Springfield office.

Haahr, the Republican representative of the 134th district who’s also speaker pro tem, joined the firm recently rebranded as Lathrop Gage as of counsel covering product liability and toxic and mass tort law, according to a news release. He previously worked since 2012 as an attorney at Aaron Sachs & Associates PC, according to his LinkedIn profile.

“We are always looking for exceptional people to add to our ranks, and Elijah certainly fits that mold,” said Randell Wallace, partner in charge of Lathrop Gage’s Springfield office, in the release. “We also have a long tradition of public and political service, and Elijah’s commitment to bettering the state of Missouri through his service in the Missouri Legislature is a great addition to that tradition.”

After earning his Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri School of Law, Haahr has worked on medical malpractice, workers’ compensation and general litigation cases, and also was named a Super Lawyers Rising Star 2015-17.

Haahr has been a state representative covering a portion of Greene County since 2012.
