Jason Brawner uses his talents to fly high, both personally and professionally.

Brawner is vice president of marketing for TrialPoint Inc., a California-based trial services company.

“I manage support staff and account executives for the company which is spread out in states west of the Mississippi River,” said Brawner, head of TrialPoint’s marketing team.

Brawner was offered his current position with TrialPoint in August 2005.

“I accepted the offer contingent on my being able to stay in Springfield and open a regional office here,” he said.

Brawner, a southwest Missouri native, spends time volunteering with organizations such as Big Brothers/Big Sisters, the Council of Churches, the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce and the Boys and Girls Club. He’s also involved in student ministries leadership with Fellowship Bible Church.

Brawner uses his status as a commercially rated, multi-engine instrument pilot to give disabled children at Camp Barnabas the experience of flight.

A 1996 Drury University graduate, Brawner said he learned to be more creative and to challenge himself from Drury professor Dudley Murphy.

“He always pushed me to be more creative and to think around problems,” Brawner said. “His influence has stayed with me and his challenges in college have forced me to challenge myself in my career.”

Brawner also has an individual business venture: real estate company Brawner Properties.

“I started this real estate investment company that holds a little less than a dozen properties (to) provide affordable, above-average living accommodations for area residents,” Brawner said.
